So another week has gone by all too quickly and I will need you all to work even harder next week!
In English next week, we will be writing our newspaper reports based on the ‘Vanishings’ in Varjak Paw before writing a recount from a character’s point of view.
In maths we will be applying our knowledge of factors and multiples so make sure you get practising your times tables over the weekend to help you with this!
In science, we will be investigating microorganisms, carrying out an experiment involving mould.
In history, we will be exploring crime and punishment in the medieval and Tudor periods.
In computing, we will be concluding our unit of work on e-safety by looking at the different forms of communication, ensuring that we stay safe using each.
In art, we will be producing self-portraits out of watercolours to once again compare at the end of the year.
This week is the first piece of reading comprehension homework –pages 6 and 7 of the Non-fiction KS2 SATs buster book (‘Dare to Dance’). Remember I did say that if you wish to complete more than those pages you can but don’t go beyond page 11. This is due in on Monday.
I am pleased to see that some of you are using Mathletics but I would like to see you all doing so more regularly now.
Have a lovely weekend!
